But to truly realize this ethos, we need more than infrastructure and good intentions, we need a strong, interconnected community. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For everyone building and maintaining DOA infrastructure, coming together to share experiences, lessons learned, and challenges is essential. The same goes for editors. Editing a DOA academic journal can be isolating: it\u2019s demanding work, often a labour of love, and usually done alongside many other responsibilities. Learning how others approach similar hurdles can make a real difference.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why we\u2019re organizing the Openjournals User\u2019s and Network Day on 3 June.
