Low Countries History Award

The Low Countries History Award was established by the Royal Netherlands Historical Society (RNHS/KNHG) in 2015 and constitutes a tri-annual best article award of the journal BMGN-LCHR. The award consists of a prize of €1.500 and a one year subscription to the printed edition of BMGN-Low Countries Historical Review. The price has been awarded for the second time at the Historicidagen of the RNHS on August 23, 2019 at the University of Groningen. The three nominees were Nicole L. Immler, Jan Hein Furnée and Ramon Voges

Nicole L. Immler won the Low Countries History Award in 2019 for her article ‘Hoe koloniaal onrecht te erkennen? De Rawagede-zaak laat kansen en grenzen van rechtsherstel zien’. The jury report can be downloaded here.
