Mapping the Diamond Open Access Landscape in the Netherlands

We’re excited to announce that Openjournals, in collaboration with the Diamond Open Access Expertise Centre, will soon launch a survey among editorial boards of all Diamond Open Access journals in the Netherlands.

Diamond Open Access as a publishing model is gaining momentum. Over recent years, the number of journals offering free access for readers and no publication costs for authors has grown significantly. With this survey, we aim to better understand how Diamond OA journals operate, the challenges they face, and the values and practices that shape this community.

To further develop successful Diamond Open Access publishing infrastructures, we need the input from editors. The survey is an opportunity for them to indicate what support they need and how Diamond Open Access can be strengthened in the Netherlands.

More details will follow soon. We warmly encourage editors of Diamond OA journals to participate and make their voices heard.
