Cahier voor Literatuurwetenschap

The Cahier for Literary Science (CLW) is the peer-reviewed yearbook of the Flemish Association for General and Comparative Literature (VAL). The CLW publishes contributions in the field of literary scholarship in its most inclusive sense. Contributions cover diverse periods, national cultures, languages and methods or involve general and comparative literary science and translation research. Each year the CLW contains a thematic dossier, compiled by guest editors. Free submissions outside the theme dossier are also welcome. In addition, the CLW contains two sections: in “The Field,” the CLW makes space for concise representations of (new) directions in literary scholarship; in “Plisa” (Platform Literature and Society) attention is paid to initiatives for valorization (knowledge utilization) of literary research.
