The Journal for the History of Knowledge is an open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on the history of knowledge in its broadest sense. It covers the history of science, indigenous, artisanal, and other forms of knowledge, as well as knowledge in the humanities and social sciences. Contributions may explore historical concepts of knowledge, knowledge-making practices, and institutions involved in knowledge production and legitimization, including universities.
