Journal of Political Sociology

The Journal of Political Sociology (JPS) provides a platform for exploring the broad scope of ‘the political’ in societal change. Moving beyond traditional political sociology, JPS examines state organizations, public policy, and political processes across diverse fields such as art, economics, education, ecology, science, technology, religion, public health, and identity formation. The journal encourages innovative approaches and methodologies in response to emerging frictions in these areas. JPS values empirical research, theoretical reflection, and critical debate, and welcomes inter- and transdisciplinary perspectives and engagement with diverse publics.
