Open call for themed issue Jeugd in Ontwikkeling (Youth in Development)

The journal Jeugd in Ontwikkeling (Youth in Development), available via the OpenJournals platform, has issued an open call for a special issue devoted entirely to positive development and resilience in children and young people. 🌱

🔍 Why this theme?

Mental health is more than just the absence of problems. Yet research into positive traits, well-being, and resilience in children and young people lags behind. This special issue aims to contribute to a broader focus within developmental psychology and related fields.

👥 Who is it for?

Do you (and your co-authors) have research, interventions, or insights on:

– Positive traits such as meaning, gratitude, or optimism

– Skills such as empathy or need-crafting

– The social context that supports positive development

Jeugd in Ontwikkeling welcomes a variety of contributions: research articles, literature studies, case descriptions, and more!

đź“… Important deadlines

– Submit abstracts before: March 1, 2025
