Working together on open science & university knowledge sharing!

Openjournals hosts the journals published by Radboud University Press and Open Press Tilburg University, two university publishers that operate on the basis of open science principles and believe that scientific knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

  • Radboud University Press was founded in 2021 at Radboud University. The press is a Diamond Open Access publisher, which means that all publications are freely accessible, at no cost to readers or authors.
  • Open Press Tilburg University was launched in 2020 as a library- and science-driven Open Access publishing platform for researchers at Tilburg University. The press is part of the university’s Open Science Action Plan.

What do we want to achieve together?

  • Make scientific knowledge easily accessible
  • More open access journals, managed by scientists themselves
  • No costs for authors or readers
  • In accordance with Open Science principles

Together with Radboud University Press and Open Press Tilburg University, we are taking steps towards an open, fair, and sustainable academic publishing landscape.
