Diamond Open Access (DOA) puts academic work back into the hands of the academic community. But to truly realize this ethos, we need more than infrastructure and good intentions, we need a strong, interconnected community.

For everyone building and maintaining DOA infrastructure, coming together to share experiences, lessons learned, and challenges is essential. The same goes for editors. Editing a DOA academic journal can be isolating: itโ€™s demanding work, often a labour of love, and usually done alongside many other responsibilities. Learning how others approach similar hurdles can make a real difference.

Thatโ€™s why weโ€™re organizing the Openjournals Userโ€™s and Network Day on 3 June. A day to connect with others in the diamond open access ecosystem, exchange practical insights and experiences, and contribute to prefiguring an open academic community.

Access is free, but seats are limited. Register soon to secure your place.

See you in Amsterdam on June 3!
